Taking Rook > Taking Queen?

What about it?

So I get that King can move to E7 here but it still loses the queen for a bishop after I move my dark squared bishop to G5. So a queen (9 points) - Bishop (3 points) is up 5 points of material. Same outcome would happen if I were to take the rook for free (+5 points). For reference, king taking my bishop is the best move. So why is taking a rook better than taking a queen?
