What can I do to get my dog to stop biting so much
What about it?
The photo is dated compare to how big he is, but my family’s dog Jack, who is about 2-3 months old has while as expected to be playful, bites too hard. Overall he just plays too rough, more so a few minutes ago while walking him outside he was in a playful mood and kept going for my brother and my ankles, in my case his teeth scraped too hard and broke skin.
TLDR: My dog plays too rough, how can I get him to play more softly?

What about it?
My beagle is 16, so all things considered she is doing well.
She has a bad disc which has resulted in inflammation causing reduced mobility in her back legs. She has been on prednisone for several months, and although it helps the inflammation, it has adverse effects such as loss of muscle mass, although she has always been around 15 pounds this morning she weighed only 11.4.
I am going to try increasing the dose for a couple of days just to see if there is improvement in her mobility (the past few days she has not had much use of her back legs).
I may try my hand at building her a little scooter (there are YouTube videos with step by step instructions).
Her eyesight is good, her hearing is selective, and her snuggling skills are top notch.
Tldr, mobility issues, suggestions for diy scooter or other ways to help her stay standing to eat, drink, do business, and get around?
what to feed my almost 1 year old mix
What about it?
I have a 9 month old German Shepard / Husky mix who is about 50 pounds. we adopted her from a local rescue when she was 6 months old.
When we got her, we started her on a Merrick all breeds puppy food.
She also had a parasite which caused excessive diarrhea and stomach upset. With the first round medication it was not getting better so we brought her in to get another round and our vet also suggested looking into a large breed puppy food instead because he said it had different levels of nutrients that would be helpful to her with her growing. After searching the internet and in store we ended up going with Purina pro plan large breed puppy food since they were one of the very few brands that have large breed PUPPY food.
That being said, I’m having a lot of difficulty trying to research a good brand of food for her as an adult as I think I would like to switch her to something other than pro plan when it’s time to switch her off puppy food around her one year birthday (also let me know if that’s too early???)
She is our first pup, so I just want to make as educated of a decision as I can. Thank you.
