I have a Man-Bear-Swanson carving in my front yard to keep unemployment at bay. The woodcarving is starting to rot and wondering what is the best way to save Swanson and ultimately myself from unemployment. In the Seattle are if you have recommendations.
A newbie out of his mind oiled a cherry box with regular linseed oil twice but now wants to apply wax-based varnish to give the wood a protective "Ron Swanson"-layer. Does he need to completely sand it off or just roughen it up a bit?
Found an old cabinet at the side of the road and decided to recycle its glass doors and rounded top. Don't mind my friend Ron over here, he just likes the limelight.
