Why don’t we do that to threaten Bishop? I heard it could be a blunder but why?

So this happened after I told the opponent to try King + queen mate

Why is promoting to a room the better move?

What about it?

Both moves lead to the king taking it and the same next few moves, so why does stockfish say it’s .05 better for me if I promote to rook?
