What to do with IBM-5155 portable desktop?

My grandfather worked for IBM back in his younger days and gave me his old pc. After doing quite a bit of research I took the system apart and did a VERY thorough cleaning. Lots of dust, mouse feces, and what appeared to be oil around the cables needed to be removed. I didn't expect it to boot and sure enough it didn't. I smelled a bit of smoke and quickly shut it down and unplugged the machine. I'm wondering if it's worth seeking out a new power supply or if the whole system is likely done for? It would be cool to get it up and running again but I'm not hopeful. Maybe I'll use the shell for a sleeper build, but I want your advice. Also wondering if this thing has any value if I were to somehow revive it. Can't seem to find a single one for sale online; just one 5150 which is an earlier model.

I finally will finish this game. I first played it when on my moms old alienware laptop when i was 10. I could never finish it as after a certain point it would corrupt and freeze, since then she abandoned me. But finally I will finish this damn game and put this quest to rest.

Why can't I go higher than 8bit colour depth ? I'm worried these settings might be effecting the quality of my games. I'm using a 1070 and LG CX

My new keyboard has an enter key in replacement for a shift key. It still functions as a shift key. Is this normal? Maybe a cost saving measure. I love this keyboard after 2 days. It’s been worth 60 dollars. But i would live an explanation.
