Fun tactic I found in one of my games. It took a move for me to see it, can you spot it faster?

Lots of puzzles and more doing for tactics work. I sort of lost time focusing on memorizing a couple black and white openings instead of really understanding the "why" and now I'm redirecting to focusing on the ideas and tactics behind them.

How is this a mistake?

If I push the pawn.. Wouldn't the queen take it, I take the queen and the bishop takes my queen? Instead, I won a pawn.. Isn't that better than losing a pawn?

17 moves, 99% accuracy, Greek Gift mate. Probably my favorite game I ever played
