Ambucs Is Building a Wheelchair Ramp for My Mom! They Rock!

What about it?

My mom is 74, and she has difficulty with mobility. She can't make it down or up these stairs. I got in touch with Ambucs, a service organization that helps people with mobility needs. The local chapter offered to build her a ramp. There is no cost, but they accept donations to cover the cost of the supplies. I plan to donate as much as I can. If it is not against the rules, I will share info on how people can donate to Ambucs. Mom is so happy, and I'm so grateful that there are everyday heroes in this world. Now I just need to find someone who can fix the wood near her gutters. It's warping, and there's a hole where animals seem to have made a nest.

I am super happy for having a job where I just chill all day and work 1-2 hours a day remote for now then hybrid soon! Especially after so much hard work and pain at my previous job when I would work 10 hours per day till 8PM past 5PM, almost every single day for an ungrateful manager for 2 years where I burnt myself out and literally injured my body and hurt myself sitting on a desk all day. Ya I just have a shopping addiction but I love it and I love how I can spread shipments out on different days and also have can spread the payment out in 6 months with Amazon’s credit card. Fridge and cooler were from Amazon too. Next is a Rolex and a Benzo… Happy Prime Day! Just a friendly reminder don’t forget to shop on Prime Day or next year. And Yes... I made this post during work.
