It turned out great. Tall, air, fluffy, the whole 9 yards. Most vanilla cake recipes I find are denser and by extention flatter.

Anyone from Germany knowing the recipe for this?

What about it?

Every time i'm in Germany (love the pastries and bread there!), i buy this in bistros and it's heavenly!! It's fluffy cake with a layer of pudding i think and strawberries in a gelatin layer (?) on top. Since i have only seen this in Germany (it's called Erdbeerstück but i can't find the recipes of it online, nor do i speak German), are there any German foodies who know the recipe? Would like to make it myself!
