Broke 90 for the first time in 15 years and the first time I remembered to take a photo of the card.
What about it?
It’s actually the second time I broke 90 this summer, I shot a 89 on the same course, I just forgot to take a picture. I played a lot more in high school and in my first 2 years of college and shot consistently in the 80s. I pretty much stopped playing for 13 years and just picked it up again during the pandemic. Really started playing consistently this summer. Stoked to finally break the 90 barrier, hopefully this is a new trend for me.
Window seat advice
What about it?
I have a low shelf unit that fits below a window in my living room. I want to add a top to it to make a window seat.
One problem is that on the left side is a fireplace that doesn't stick out as far as the bench would need to be. The other problem is that there is a sliding door on the right that allows for even less depth than the fireplace.
In the drawing, the blue is the fireplace, wall and window. The green is the sliding door (opens from right to left, so no worries about blocking the entry), and the orange is the bench top that I want to add. The red circles are where I'm. Having the issue. Should I keep the corners at 90 degrees, or should I dog ear them? Or is there another way that would be best?
Any would be great! Sorry I can't provide actual photos, there are currently other pieces of furniture in the space and I'm installing the shelf and bech top as a surprise for my wife.
Order of Operations Help
What about it?
Hi all. I am making a white oak bathroom vanity. This is my first “real†wood working project. This far I have only really worked on plywood cabinets and paint grade projects.
Question: I have my joinery complete for these slats. I am finishing with Rubio. Should I finish before or after glueing up? If Rubio comes after glue-up, what’s the best way to get into the nooks and crannies?
