Have a bunch of wedges from my deceased father-in-law who was a scratch golfer until he passed. Want to pick one (or a few to keep in the bag). Help!

What about it?

Full gallery: https://imgur.com/a/zsFazuv Background. I’m a (very) high handicap and I’m currently taking lessons and trying to get better. Really wish I would have played with my FIL more before he died, but he did leave me over 100 clubs. Most are super old and beat to hell. He averaged almost a full 18 every day for a very long time, so it makes sense. Here’s a run down of the clubs I’m trying to get some insight on. Probably all from early 2000s or older. **TaylorMade r7 CGB Max Approach Wedge, Graphite Shaft** **TaylorMade r7 CGB Max Sand Wedge, Graphite Shaft** I’ve used these a few times at the range and during a round or two. I hit the approach wedge pretty well. Sand wedge gets me out of the sand, so that’s cool. Not enough experience to really gauge the sand wedge. **Callaway Big Bertha Gold “Tour Series” Sand Wedge 56 degree, Steel Shaft** Haven’t hit this one, but love how it looks. Thoughts? **Cleveland Golf CG15 64 Degree (two dots), Steel Shaft** This one just seems fun. Doubt I’ll carry it, but it’s getting regripped and going to the range. **Cleveland Golf CG14 56 Degree (two dots), Steel Shaft** This must have been his favorite club. It’s definitely been used, A LOT. Included a pic of the face in the Imgur link. Is it too worn out to bother evaluating? **Cleveland Golf (model unknown - Turner logo?) 60 degree, Steel Shaft** Trying to figure out what model this club is. Doesn’t have a CGxx marking on it. I’m interested though, has ZipCore and is a 60 which seems like a reasonable carry (in comparison to the 64) So yes, obvious answer is take them to the range and figure it out. Which I’ll likely do, but as a beginner/high handicap are there any of these that stand out as something I should definitely get regripped right away and spend some serious time with? I’d also appreciate any experience or info about the clubs and level of forgiveness/etc. I’m not super sappy or nostalgic, but the three year anniversary of his passing was yesterday and I started picking through some of the clubs he left behind. Figured it would be a nice tribute. That said, I’m also open to buying modern wedges if that’s the way. The best tribute to the old man would be to get to a respectable handicap and drink beers with his old friends at the club. (Additionally, I’ve been using the r7 irons he left, but the shafts are all too short as I’m much taller and overall not a fan compared to some others I’ve demoed. Also, I grabbed a few versions of Maltby irons to audition as I dial in what works the best there)

Anyone have an idea how to clean the face of my White Hot?

What about it?

My short stick has seen some better days but I don’t have a real reason to get a new one yet. Any idea on how to clean the face of it up?

Some old balls my father had

What about it?

Not a big golfer myself, nor was he as far as I know.Thought it might be something interesting if he had kept them all for some reason. Probably not but figured it’d be better to find out/ just show them off before they end up in the abyss aka the crawlspace
