Hi, we relocated to our new house and see this device. It leaks water and has caused a corrosion possibly because of this. Wanted to know what this device is for. I can see it has hot and cold water outlets but what is the regulator for? I have district heating. Also, by your experience, is this leak and corrosion severe and any idea how much would it cost to fix this? I wanted to know the severity because we could be out for a while. Thank you for your inputs, in advance.
