Is the Elden Ring Theme a sort of Leitmotif for the Shattering?
What about it?
This might be incredibly stupid but the whole theme sounds like the life of The Elden Ring.
The beginning of the rune being created from the other runes, made through calm intro
Then it builds into a much powerful section where the Elden ring was likely created and brought to reality
The big thunderous drums and air instruments of rising conflict within the Lands between.
Then suddenly it ends, with the last thing we hear being what I can only assume is the Elden Ring being shattered by Marika.
The song isn't meant to represent the time that our tarnished returns to the Lands Between, but rather a historical look into why the Lands Between is they way it is. In a sense, it is the leitmotif, pure musical representation of the Elden Ring. Just a silly thought
