Odd thermal issues

What about it?

Hello i'm trying to fix my friend's PC. Yet it has an odd thermal issue CPU bound. I tried multiple coolers AIO's and Air Coolers. Als different thermal paste. Yet the temp seems to go 100 straight away. Could this be a software issue? Or something BIOS related? The GPU seems to be running normal temps at 30°c idle. (Sorry that it's not a screenshot.)

Has anyone overclocked the i5 12600k? I’m interested to see if anyone has and has got any performance increases from it. I want to overclock mine but I am unsure of how to do it all.

Here is a render of 2099 that I made. I set up the scene, posing and lighting in blender then I used nuke for compositing, adding depth of field, subtle lens flairs and changed the colour space. All the models were taken from Mecabricks.
