Disabled veteran here, using my GI bill to attend school. I just signed a lease for a studio apartment in a gated community 3 weeks ago, and today my bike was stolen from the bike rack in my building. I feel unsafe every time I go out in Los Angeles, and now I feel unsafe in my own building.
