can't take credit for the idea, just the edit (bottom right not included). i adore the idea of Batman using animal science, like predatory night vision lenses that don't glow but simply reflect light in a really creepy way.

We all know The Joker loves to play with people, and things are rarely as he claims them to be. Prime example being his switching of Harvey and Rachel's captive locations when telling them to Batman. Moving forward to the 3rd act of the film, he appears to give each of these boats a detonator to blow the other one up. Do you think that's actually what would have happened? Or would they unknowingly have the trigger to their own boat and blow themselves up, leaving the world to assume that the other boat did it, despite their claims to the contrary?

This is the only “Batman retiring “ scenario that makes sense to me.
