I played chess in highschool, it's been 20 years since then. I lost 3 games due to playing while my son was jumping on my head (2 year old). What is considered "not a beginner" rating? So far the people i played made really bad mistakes, didn't think i'd see mistakes like that after 1000 rating.

Are you better than 1490? Find the continuation my opponent didn't see I had.

I played black and made mistakes along the way but ended in stalemate… this is why you don’t resign a game, and why you take the mate as soon as you find it!
