Wanted to get this tattooed on my left thy. About 5 inches. I was gonna get just black lines. Is this a bad idea because the lines would be so thick?

The intent was to be in American traditional style but with design elements from Mexican sugar skulls. Nikkole at Anvil Tattoo in VA nailed it.
