I lost my sweet Sammy girl today

What about it?

She was 7 years old. Overnight she went from lively and puppy like to lethargic due to a hemangiosarcoma in her spleen that was found on Saturday. She was supposed to have surgery on Tuesday, but collapsed this morning after going potty. I rushed her to the emergency vet and they found it had infiltrated her heart. I made the roughest decision of my life so she wouldn't suffer anymore and held her until the very end. And it's broken my heart. Please hug your sweet pups often and with lots of love.

💌💕 My girl Callie had surgery today to remove a (rather large) benign mass of subcutaneous epithelial cells. My heart has never experienced such heartache. Please send us some love 🙏🏼
