NewB questions

What about it?

Haven’t been in this sub for long so have some questions. Sorry if these have already been answered a zillion times. Pulled this from our master bath shower this morning after some recent slow draining. 1. Is there an established naming convention for these wet bunnies? Like hurricanes are named in alphabetical order, so I was thinking Allison (the girl who dumped me in fifth grade) or Amanda (my favorite rock ballad). 2. What is the theoretical nutritional content of this mass, and do I just stick it in the microwave for a minute or does a crockpot draw out more flavor? 3. Is there an objective gag reflex scale for humans? Perhaps something equivalent to the Scoville scale? If it doesn’t already exist would it make more sense to use a linear scale or go straight to exponential? 4. Is it considered prudent that I tell my wife that I used her toothbrush for the final cleanup under the drain grate? TIA

Which shutoff valve?

What about it?

My stall shower has a steady leak and I’ve been told to take the existing valve cartridge to properly match a new replacement. The shower does not have shutoff valve so I need to shut the main valve. Which would that be the red, black, or yellow valve? TIA

What kind of tank is this

What about it?

Our toilet has started taking a long time to fill up after flushing. When I opened the tank, I was greeted with a style I've never come across before, and I haven't been able to find out the right arrangement of letters and spaces to make Google happy. Can someone just tell me what it is and I can go from there? If it helps, the brand is Glacier Bay.

Anything wrong with capping this plumbing for a wet bar?

What about it?

We won’t have any use for this wet bar plumbing in our updated layout. Wife won’t let me put in a water bottle filler either. Anything wrong with capping the supplies? It’s a slab so there’s not much of a choice, I know the stagnant water could be an issue. I also just wanted to remove the trap and cap the tee w/ a clean out but leave the vent. It’ll have an access too in case anything needs to change in the future.

Replace seat valve?

What about it?

So i changed all the stems for an old american standard 3 handle shower. Like an ass, i figured id replace the seat valve for the shower control since i had a new one, despite existing working fine. I managed to break the gd thing. I posted here before and naturally a picture was requested. It was not easy to get cause of how deep this thing is. The existing valve has now been reamed out by a 1/4 in wide screwdriver. Any tips on how to get this out very welcome, thanks in advance.

Replacing Pex Supply Stopper Vavle

What about it?

The Builders used this POS all in one shut off valve and supply line from a pex stub out. The supply line is leaking from the crimped connector. What’s the best way to replace this for future proofing? Do I need any special tools?
