What to do with this pine log?

I am getting this log from the inlaws. What should I make out of it once it dries? Was hoping to make some outdoor furniture with it.

I have a 150+ yr oak floor in my downstairs and my dumbest roommate scratched it in areas because she didn't put feet on the new chair thing she got. Do these work?

First time using stain, what did I do wrong?

As you can see in the photo there are very dark dots that seemed to absorb much more stain. This is a very old piece of pine I found to test color combinations because I am going to be staining our butcher block which is also pine. This is my first time staining. I used a minwax oil based stain combination and also used a prestain beforehand

Thinking about using these for a mobile workbench and my only concern is that I might constantly trip over them as I move around the bench. Wondering if anybody who has them had any issues?

Bridge city plane

I’m considering making an admittedly dumb purchase. I’ve been looking at a beige city block plane for a while and I think I want one. Problem is I can’t find a review that seems trustworthy. I don’t expect this to be twice as good as a veritos or lie nielson, but I don’t want to spend twice the money to have something that is worse. Anyone have any experience with this plane?
