Chocolate Chip Cookies with Roasted Bay Laurel Nuts

What about it?

I decided experiment. I got a pound of Bay Laurel nuts from out west and didn’t know what to do with them. So I roasted them up and added them to some chocolate chunk cookies. It’s kind of like if chocolate and coffee had a baby. Very sophisticated flavor profile.

My attempt at the baker's dozen challenge: 2 cakes (cupcakes), 2 pies, 1 cheesecake, 2 candy, 2 cookies, 2 quick bread, 2 yeast bread. Easily gained several pounds eating all the recipe leftovers not pictured here 🙄
