How do i enter the golem

I just killed the plantera and have the key for golem but i cant find anyway in, the only thing i found is an entrance without any door to go through

I got a slime staff while trying to make room for houses! Lucky me :]

Help chaos elemental is not spawning. I tried everything, i have no player walls in my background, water candle and shadow candle are placed, grapple attached to a block, even tried the frog leg jump thingie and the darts.
