Terrible idea and placement

25 bucks and a joint got me this winner in a neighbors basement.

What about it?

When the neighbor mentioned he had a gun and needed practice I told him I had the perfect tattoo idea. I had re discovered one of my favorite childhood poetry books only a day or so earlier and had forgotten how amazing every page of them were and continue to be even today. When I handed my neighbor the bookmarked spread he immediately admitted he wasn’t comfortable doing text. Then when I said no words and pointed to the illustration, his double take reaction was immediately followed by multiple, “are you sure?” I had to reassure him a few times and had to communicate that it was supposed to look like that, exactly. 10 years old at this point and it just gets shittier by the day. Wouldn’t have had it done any other way. “Shapes”- shel Silverstein To this day I still love it.

Referring to the snake that the arrow is pointing at. I got it from a reputable tattoo artist a couple years ago. Is it shitty that I should laser remove it?
