The amount of times I’ve placed an order with a drink that I look forward to getting, only to not receive it because there’s some drivers that don’t look at receipts!🙏 (Ik sometimes y’all are going fast and it gets missed sometimes so I feel like these would help so many dashers!!)

Usually when I first log into DoorDash, I’m at my house and really just trying to see what it’s looking like, if it’s worth it to even get out in this heat. I live right off a busy, main hotspot in my city, and I’ll get an order pretty quickly, gather my stuff, and head out. I live less than 5 minutes away from the Taco Bell she ordered from, and in the time it took me to accept the order, grab my purse and a water, and get in my car, she was sending this. I didn’t see it at first, so she called and had the WORST attitude of any customer I’ve ever dealt with across multiple delivery apps. And she was also less than 5 minutes from the restaurant… 🤦🏻‍♀️ I’m calling it a night after that one.

Sometimes I still think about how nobody has made me feel as good about myself as this dasher did 3 years ago

I usually don’t post, but I’ve order from DD so many times and worked full time for them for three years and this is the weirdest message I’ve ever gotten 🤣

Food Hostage Situation

DoorDash 11PM

Was not expecting a $30 tip on a 1 mile order!

What about it?

This is the largest tip I've ever gotten and turned around a slow, dud of a Dash. The original order had been $10 something, and was the last one I was doing on my way home. I live 20 to 30 mins from the city where I can dash, so if I get an order heading towards home at the end, I usually take them. Anything to make the drive worth it. This one was an 8 item order and went to a motel a mile away from the restaurant. Turns out it was the manager of the hotel who ordered and must've been feeling extra generous! My oldest son was riding with me since he had wanted to go to Gamestop today, and I told him if I had a good enough weekend, we could go see the new Ninja Turtles movie he's been asking about. Now I guess we have to 😁
