…what flea/tick & heartworm medication do you have your pups on? My late pup was on Bravecto (died unexpectedly at ten) and my seven-month-old is on Simparica Trio. I know the vet’s recommended them, but I’ve also read some horror stories. Looking for optimistic wisdom from Goldens who’ve lived well into adulthood. Thank you! Puppy tax with new booties. 💃🏻

Happy 11th birthday to Charlie

What about it?

This is an older picture of Charlie. He has much more white in his face now and his hips are not as strong as they used to be. He will be eating a steak tonight for his birthday. Our vet said he wouldn’t make it through winter…that was over two years ago. Here’s to more adventures!

This shedding fool needs some serious deshedding help. What’s everyone’s favorite deshedding tools that they use between professional grooming appointments? ❤️

Anyone else’s golden less willing to walk as they get older?

Our golden turns 7 next month and the last few months he’s been less willing to cooperate on a walk and will protest by not walking like the photo above sometimes. Anyone have this issue as their golden got older?
