Got new tires on my car today, came back to my visor mirror broken

Somebody hit my car and drove off while I was at college today.

Pulled in and parked within the lines, nobody in front of me or either side. Came out, got in, drove home and found that. Bumper and grille are fucked and need replacing, my deductible is about 1k so that’s coming out of my savings now. No note, nothing. Campus security hadn’t heard anything either. I wouldn’t have even been angry at the person, shit happens and I get it. I just got clipped by a deer a couple weeks ago in a different vehicle (ran out about 5 feet in front of me and nothing I could do). Hell if the damage was a few scratches or something cheaper I’d have taken their name and insurance down and told them I’d probably just fix it myself. Now they’re going to probably get ticketed for being a dumbass.

Just came back from 3 weeks of renos(load in crew) and I see the "completely necessary" backflow apperatus. They told us they couldn't put it behind the wall, and it needed to be that height. Immediately I see the problems that are going to arise from this. We don't have very gentle dishwashers, and this thing is going to be destroyed and leaking within a week.
