Spider ID please!

This beautiful creature made a web on our sliding glass door. My kids and I have enjoyed watching him rush to the center of his web each night about 7:50. What kind of spider is he? We are in Maryland, USA.

A bit over an inch in length. Was flying around my Hydrangeas. Didnt seem to particularly care that I was there but not something I'd like to see again if I'm honest. Just trying to figure out what I'm possibly dealing with.

Pretty sure it's a shield bug of some kind, but do you guys know which?

Unknown caterpillar

I’m in southern Ontario. I thought maybe he was a giant swallowtail caterpillar, but I haven’t seen any of those with the little green vests on. He was on some kind of honeysuckle bush but that was underneath an elm tree which he could’ve fallen from.

Found this bug, around 1.5 inches long erratically crawling on the ground of an indoor lumberyard. It was brown, with a black stripe down the middle of the back, it had long legs (idk how many) and looked like some sort of centipede.
