Spent the weekend in a Bortle 2 campground

Salt Point State Park in Northern CA. The moon was somewhat washing out the sky until midnight. Welp, back to my Bortle 6 suburb.

I don't see enough love for protoplanetary disks. The fact that we can see them in this resolution is just mind-blowing to me.

I got a nice shot of Jupiter and Io right when the spot was facing us the other night. There are 4 moons easily visible through a pair of binoculars. Jupiter is high in the sky right before dawn right now.
