In Montana US on February 2 1970, during a routine exercise a pilot fell into spin and made the decision to eject. Upon ejecting, the reduction in weight and change in center of gravity leveled the plane out and it landed safely in a cornfield with minor damages. The "Cornfield Bomber" was restored.
