In St. Pete, FL. I’ve seen my fair share of Florida bugs but not this one….back legs are much longer. Found him on the ceiling, then he eventually crawled his way to the wall. He looks to almost have a pinched abdomen with a stinger maybe?

I thought he was a tomato worm, but unlikely given he was trundling across a cottage road through the woods in Buckhorn Ontario, Canada. Sphynx?

Is this a roach in my dinner?

Ate a prawn and fish kebab at a restaurant in the Canary Islands. It was delicious! Except for finding this hiding under some prawn shells at the end (AFTER I’d consumed most of what was on my plate). It was about an inch in length. Am I right in thinking it’s a roach of some kind? 🤢 (apologies for the blurry pic - was trying to do it discreetly).
