Okay I just want to vent here a minute

Okay, so I am a trans woman who is on a few dating sites and I’m super frustrated. I have only ever had two actual matches over the last 2 years that ended up fizzling out. They were both bi women and we ended up going on some dates. I’ve had bottom surgery and have been wanting to try dating a man for the first time. You have no idea how many guys that I’ve matched with that either, don’t read my profile and instantly unmatch me when they see I’m trans, ghost me after what seems like things are going good, or just want to see my d*ck (which I no longer have 🤦🏻‍♀️)… I’m super frustrated and I just want to connect with someone that sees me as a person beyond my old life. Is that so much to ask? I understand that some people don’t want to date a trans person, but oh my god, just read my damn profile! It’s there for a reason!

i’ve been told i’m intimidating on profile reviews but never heard it from a match. how am i supposed to respond to this? not gonna lie the self deprecating tone makes me a little uncomfortable, but i like to give people a shot!
