*Found in Stockton, CA* Can anybody help identify this spider? This is the only pic I could get before it started to run away and I stepped on it. My wife is terrified of bugs and I usually try to come to her with all the facts so she can try to only be “the right amount of worried” as she puts it.

She said it was really loud during the night. It's about 1-2 cm long, she killed it when it jumped out. Found in Central Europe, Hungary.
