Admiral downplay is dumb
Many people downplay the admiral since they don't like them which makes it irrelevant. Fujitora and kuzan are like while greenbull, kizaru, akainu are usually called fraud.
Admiral downplay happens due to the failed actions of them although there were reasonable explanation like kizaru not being serious in sabaody, 3 admirals not being able to go all out in marineford due to too much damage against the marines. Fujitora not going all out in dressrosa since he has morals.
Admirals are supposed to be the strongest marines which is why their true power are reserved. The same way with other endgame characters like shanks, mihawk and Imu. Kuzan probably had the best feats such as freezing seas, tsunami, destroying BB commanders and turning punk hazard with akainu. Kizaru also had the best entrance despite pre ts being fodders. Now kizaru being downplayed in egghead.
Fujitora and GB being much weaker than previous admiral are also headcanon only since the gap isn't that huge. Greenbull running away from shanks isn't even fraud activity it's more dumb if he fought 2 yonko and he did state he doesn't want to fight shanks "yet". Greenbull also hold off yamato and scabbards and yamato is easily atleast sanji lvl with high durability.
Finally Yonko commander lvl don't exist hence saying admirals are YC1 commanders don't make sense. King, Marco, Kata, Shiryu, Zoro all have varying strength and would all lose to an admiral in 1v1.
