Had a little friend land on my chair with me outside (North Texas)

Figure it’s a spider wasp or some kind just not certain on the species

Starting to see them around my house a lot, biggest ive seen in UK need a name

What specific species is this hoverfly? Seen in London.

Tried using an app to identify this guy but it can't decide on a definite species. Its thought maybe a Large Wasp Hoverfly - but comparing photos of those to this one, I'm not 100% sure it is?

from the uk, north west been the park looks like a caterpillar but not sure was less than 1cm long

A bunch of these (5-6 at a time) keep appearing between my kitchen floorboards. This one's dead hence keeled back. Around 1.5cm. What are they and how do I get rid of em?
