Chunky spider

Found this bad boi at work in NYC

What spider is this? Found in Southern California, and it was about 3 or so inches long.

“Flying nopes” buzzing around our front porch…

We’ve got a bunch of these flying around our front porch right now, and a few weeks back we’re flying around the clover in our yard. They look like giant yellow jackets, and have a real distinct droning sound when they fly. Curious to know what they are so we know how to get rid of them. Haven’t found a nest yet either, or would have sprayed that.

Anyone know this little blud?

Found this jazzy guy in Virginia. Who is he?

Saw this bastard in the mountains of Pennsylvania. I saw a similar one in my hometown not in the mountains. It looks like a big mosquito but slightly more evil? Anybody recognize this guy?

Cleaning my dogs food/water bowls today and these weird little guys were wriggling around in the overflow.

I usually clean this out once or twice a month. This time it’s been a little longer for various good reasons. What are these creepy little guys?
