Need help identifying

Found soft spots in my bathroom floor. Tore up sections and found this in one area. What exactly am I looking at? I've pulled all affected wood up, should I spray the remaining boards with anything? Is this the right subreddit? Lol, so many questions, any help would be greatly appreciated!!!
