Deactivated?

Hi everyone. I have a question for all the long time dashers out there. After taking a year off of dashing; where I had a 4.9 rating, 800 deliveries & a high acceptance and completion rating.. After, the first week or two of my return.. I noticed my completion rate was dropping very fast. My acceptance rate was staying the same tho. I reached out to DD multiple occasions. One time they even sent an email saying there was a system error. And anything I was not accepting was negatively effecting completion rate… not acceptance rating.. but my completion rate. I’ve gone back and forth with DD over the past few weeks and now was removed for bad completion rate… after a 4.9 rating. 900 orders.. so my question here is.. If I don’t accept an order that comes in, Becusse it’s paying $2.50.. and say I decline it. Or I just miss the order Becusse I waited too long… does that count against my completion rate and acceptance rate? I feel like that should only effect your acceptance rate. FYI, after they admitted to a system glitch with my completion rate. They said they new rating would update.. it never updated.

Just need to vent- So about 3 hours ago, had an order for Aldi, with eggs and milk included. Went to drop off. It’s a gated community. I call to get code from customer. Been dashing for 6 months. Full time lately. Never an issue with gates and codes. Normal people put it on notes or tell you to call them and they give it to you. Customer doesn’t answer phone. Called 5 times. Left 2 messages. Texted 3 times. Waited 15 min. Contacted chat support. Advised me to leave order in safe place, send a photo, and explain what happened. Did all 3. Still got a violation. I’ll do 100 deliveries before they even get to it. Some customers are just scum bags. Junior A, you are top tier scum.

I ordered macaroni and cheese. This is the pic the dasher shared of the drop off. As you can see, he placed it up-right, letting all that stuff run out of the box. I don’t even see how this is possible without meticulously balancing it like that. Anyways, I wrote this in to support: “I ordered macaroni and cheese. It came in the standard styrofoam box most orders come in. For some reason, this genius of a dasher thought it was a good idea to set the box VERTICALLY on my porch, letting all of the runny liquid spill out into the bag and all over the box. I took it inside and ran it to the sink, while simultaneously dripping it all over my hardwood floor. I truly don’t understand. It is not appropriate to place any food upright in that vertical position, let alone MACARONI AND CHEESE. Im writing in to recommend this dasher gets the dasher of the year reward, and immediately resigns to go work for NASA. This level of intelligence is unprecedented.” They gave me $14 back, but i’m still pissed. What do you guys think? Was this intentional or should this dasher not be allowed to reproduce? Also, will he be able to see this message? I hope he does.

Technically delivered

Not my order but as I was walking to my car, I noticed this. One of the neighboring companies is a little tricky to find and oftentimes we get dashers coming into my office by mistake and I point them in the right direction. Today somebody decided to leave the delivery on top of a brick column at the end of their driveway. Mind you the columns are like 6-7 feet tall.
