This was on my mind

After playing the game for over 100 hours and getting to AR 57 I feel like I’m missing something. When I try to farm I feel like I only get average pieces over and over again. When I level up I never have enough exp. When I start a fight, I have the wrong element type and have to scramble to make a build quick. I don’t if this is just me but I have this problem in HoYo’s other games as well. If anyone has advice I would love to here it because I love this game and I want to keep playing it but I feel like I’m behind everyone.
