Have a few questions about how to take care of my kitten

I have a 4-5 week old kitten I rescued near my home in a previous post. I wasn’t able to get her mom and her mom didn’t want to follow her but the whole story isn’t important rn. Two things: 1) She has fleas and we’re scared of washing her then her getting them again. We know it’s honestly somewhat inevitable until she’s 8-10 weeks and we can use some kind of safe chemical but washing her doesn’t get everything out. Should we just keep washing her to make sure it doesn’t become a big issue until she’s old enough for some flea killing product? There’s no evidence of fully grown fleas so she’s probably safe from it becoming a real issue right now. Also obviously eggs are probably dropping all over our apartment so I’m assuming we should be cleaning on the daily or something? I’m not sure if I can even pet her because I might end up dragging something on my hand across the rest of the apartment. 2) We’ve been keeping her in our other bedroom but she really loves interacting with us. We read that kittens shouldn’t go 4 hours or more without interaction so we brought her into our bedroom instead. Our bed is too high up but is it fine if we’re just there to keep her company in the same room? Thank you all!
