Huge Mosquito Species?

Got bit by this giant mosquito today in Minnesota. It was so big it had a woodtick on it. Haha, but seriously does anyone know what species it is? This is hands down the biggest mosquito I've ever seen.

How to deal with missing pieces

A few days ago I was reading here complaints about how QC has gone down in the years and I was a bit skeptic until today, when I happened to get a couple pieces missing in the 76993 (Sonic) set that my father bought for my son for his birthday. The pieces aren’t actually necessary for the build, but the 7yo kid is rightfully disappointed - and so am I, since those little animals seems quite nice to have. For all of you that has had to deal with this, what’s the proper way? Thanks.
