New garden plot advice

Hi all, this is a birds eye view of our house/land. The original garden box that came with the house is hit by sun all day so I'm looking for advice on a better location to put it. I was thinking near the fence line to the South but there is an irrigation pipe that runs that way and I would hate to have my garden destroyed if anything ever went wrong with it. I'm located in eastern Utah and my hardiness zone is 6B, we do also have the sprinkler system that hits the lawn but next spring I'll be working on incorporating clover and creeping thyme into the grass, so I'm not worried about having to destroy some of grass. I was thinking a relatively small plot, maybe 6ft by 13ft and I think we are on .27 acres.
