This is all the food I got for $49 from my local fruit and veg.

I'm seeing a lot of posts about how expensive food is. Yes, is true. But if you have a fruit and veg place close enough, always shop there first and then go to the supermarket for anything you cannot get there. All of the fruit here is about $2 a kilo. Avos are only a dollar. Those huge sweet potatoes, less than $2 per kilo. Get on gmaps and search for your closest fruit and veg, folks.

Why is this contraption on the front left wheel of every shopping cart at my local Coles?

I think its because it might stop the cart as a stopper if a person takes it too far from the shop, but I'm probably wrong. Any ideas?
