This is how I (as a non-Brit) know there are British tourists at the hotel

This is so British to me, I've only ever seen this toaster warming thing in hotels where there are British tourists. And at this hotel there are 2 of them! Is this a British thing?

What do we think? Has anyone else had one of these?
