What is this ?

it can fly and is about 2 cm long. From France/Paris

Central Florida, very small about the size of a dime.

Hanging out in my bathroom and I’d like to just leave him be… unless he’s venomous.

Tips for Care (rescued from cats)

Found this freshly molted Viceroy out beside the house mid-lawn where our cats roam. I know the coloration is supposed to warn predators NOT to eat him, but our cats apparently like danger and I've seen them eat three... 🤦 While his wings finish forming ideally where should I place it before releasing him later?? Right now he's inside but was wondering if it should be placed outside under the patio umbrella while he finishes spreading his wings or somewhere else

What is eating this swamp milkweed beetle larvae?

This black and yellow leaf beetle-shaped fellow with an assassin bug-like proboscis was devouring a swamp milkweed beetle larvae today. The larvae was hanging from the proboscis. Anyone know who this bug killer is?

Found in northern Alabama. Please ID
