Funny story, I read this book "From the inside out : radical gender transformation, FTM and beyond" when I was roughly 12 to 14. Before anyone asks I was very worldy teenager. I always thought this was a guy flexing his chest muscles but now I see a face.

I finally did it!

After a long and stressful 4 months I finally came out to my mom. (See attached image) I'm stressed to talk to her, but the worst that could happen is I go live with a friend. I'm 90% sure she isn't homophobic but I do have a place to go if I get kicked out. I'm in Florida so I can't be too open about it, but at least at home I can be myself.

Hung out with an old friend. It was interesting

I introduced my gf (31tf) to one one my (35tf) closest friends (35m) today, who I've known for at least 15yrs, and we spent a few hours together and got dinner. I haven't had the chance to see him in a little over 6 months, right around when I started HRT, so no real changes had started yet. According to her, he kinda did a double take when he first saw me, while we were at the restaurant I was kinda vibing and dancing to the music they had in in the background and he off handedly called me cute, and when we hugged goodbye he commented that I smell really good. He has a bit of a reputation for being flirty and forward with our female friends, but no red flags and no reports of harmful or untrustworthy behavior, so I feel perfectly safe around him, but I was not prepared for the shift in perspective. I am hella affirmed, and it was not particularly aggressive, but both my gf and myself were slightly off put at the end. Ultimately we agreed it's harmless and not outside his character at all, so to just accept the affirmation as it is. He definitely saw a woman 😊
