Ladies and gentlemen, im proud to announce it’s been over 3 years since my tumor has been removed

I had a tumor grow on my saliva gland. For a couple years it slowly grew to the size of a grapefruit. Finally found a doctor who was willing to operate on me before this became more serious. They said from what the could gather, it wasn’t cancerous yet, but they were worried it wouldn’t have been long till it was. I feel like I can say I’m a cancer survivor because of it, not for any clout, but because I’ve met a few people who have had a much tougher time, and I stretch that truth enough to see them smile with what I hope is some confidence in themselves. I still can’t use muscles on my upper left lip, and that half of my face is still numb from the nerves being severed during surgery, and whenever I eat something’s super sweet or sour, the last bit of my saliva gland leaks through the stretched skin, but I can tell when it’s going to rain within the week with a 7/10 accuracy It’s random, the surgery anniversary was a few months ago, but I was looking thru my memory box and found my hospital wristband, and I thought you guys would enjoy my story.

Every time I visit my boyfriend, he always does this. He never means it and I find it so sweet (I’m sorry if this isn’t the right sub. First post 😅)
