What furniture would match w this wall and rug

Just moved and have zero furniture. Super excited to start decorating and want to incorporate houseplants as much as possible but not entirely sure how to fuse it w the rug. Any recommendations for color palates, themes, furniture styles, or general advice?

Lookin for some tips

Recently moved out of my parents house at 20 years and old and so much happier, as I feel the freedom and Im now really pursuing my goals and passions. Here’s my room, theres roommates too in other rooms not just me. Anything I can do or add to make it more apartment style like if that makes sense, theres a game room right outside my room so no need for a tv or anything like that. Theres a small wall behind me not seen in the pic but i was gonna put a ladder book shelf there for more plants and books.

Antique mahogany poster bed

This is by far my favorite piece of furniture. I scored this bed for less then $300!! Looks great in this midtown rental, built in 1912. The pencil slim posts without any carvings is exactly what I wanted.

New house, TV location help needed.

Just bought a new place and I'm being left with a tv location conundrum. Pic shows how the recent owners set up the room. Can't decide if I should accept the pain of a high tv, place it at far wall where clock is, or somewhere else?

Blanket for bed

I would like to add a blanket for the foot of my bed. Any thoughts on colors? And if anyone has a recommendation they like that’d be great!
