second try for semi formal “colorful and classyâ€
based on feedback from this sub i went out and (somewhat frantically) shopped for a different dress for a wedding i’m attending this weekend, and i’m so glad i did because i found this gorgeous dress and fell in love! it was the only one of this style in the store and happened to be in my size, so it was meant to be! can’t wait to wear it!!
What style/color shoes
What color and style of shoes would go with this dress? September, formal wedding.
Update: I went with the green dress!
In my last post, y’all were 50/50 about whether my green dress was too casual for a garden party wedding, and let me tell you: it was perfect! After a year with a new baby and being a first time mom, it was really nice to dress up the family and we fit in perfectly with the other guests’ attire.
Dress code is semi formal/ cocktail. Does this work? Indoors in a month
What shoes?
Dress code: dresses, skirts, blouses, dress sweaters, and dress slacks for ladies are preferred
Is this okay for a casual cocktail / Optional black-tie wedding?
Too white for an early September wedding?
