Tobacco stains on plastic
Hello, people! For a very long time this monitor had an ashtray with cigarettes right under it. The smoke&tobacco stained the plastic in this corner. Tried a little bit of water and soap, it doesn’t look like it’s coming off very soon. Any tips? Highly appreciated!
How do I get dirt/mud stains out of pants hem?
These pants are a bit too long for me without heels and the hem got dirty as I was walking around town one day. There are no instructions on how to wash, but I’ve washed them twice (machine wash cold) and the stains are still there. I am afraid to use harsher stain removal products in case it messes with the color… what is the best approach here? I love these pants (and I know I need to hem them) but they just look so grubby at the bottom now. Thanks in advance!
How the hell do I clean this thing ?
This water bottle sat in a bag unused for a while and got messed up., I have only ever hand washed it due to stickers on the outside. I've tried soap and water, abenaqui, abrasive scrubbies, baking soda, vinegar, and basically whatever else I could find around the house. As you can see, some of it started to come off after a while but if I keep using the same methods it's going to take DAYS of scrubbing to get this clean. I'm out of ideas. The brand is Bubba if that makes a difference.
Disinfect Castlery wood table?
We just purchased the Seb extendable dining room table from Castlery. The care and cleaning instructions say to clean with a damp cloth, but my son has food allergies so we need to be able to disinfect the surface without damaging the wood finish. Their customer service recommended Microban 24-hour sanitizing spray, but that says it’s not for use on food-contact surfaces. Anyone have any recommendations? Has anyone had experience using Dawn dish soap or the Method daily wood cleaner on a wood dining table?
What would be the best way to clean this dirty garage floor
My dad was working on something outdoors and there were muddy shoes. I want to surprise my parents and clean it (I already plan to pressure wash the driveway which is super muddy tomorrow). However, in the garage I don’t want to use water (or like hose it down to be more specific) because we do have a bunch of cardboard boxes and other stuff and I don’t wanna get it wet!
Set in Sweat/Deodorant Stains?
I have a few shirts (mostly colors) that have darkening and a waxy feel in the armpit area. These have been washed and dried many times.
I’m doing a closet purge and these are shirts that I’ve stopped wearing due to the stains. I’d love to wear them again if the stains are removable, but open to tossing/repurposing the fabric if they aren’t going to get a good result.
I switched to a clear gel deodorant after getting white stains in my clothes (got some of it out with vinegar, but it became a pain) and now the black stains are coming with the gel. At least it’s not on all of my clothes like the white was!
