Weevils fly????

I was not aware that our little buddies were able to fly, first time seeing one

Found in Mid Michigan

About an inch, maybe an 1 1/4 inches long.

Found in a kitchen in the Midwest.

Looks like it had one broken leg, too. Might have been the bug that was trying to escape the cat.
